Quake glanced at the sky as they followed Quasar. It was getting darker. The sun will go down soon and Quake didn't like the dark.Silly to be afraid of the dark when he could tell what was going on all around him for over twenty feet or more but he was. It reminded him to much of what had happened to him when he was young. When he didnt know he was an elemental. Water lapped at the ground farther in front of them and Quake's ears perked."I think were almost there,"he mumbled glancing at the orangeing sky.

By the time they got to Melody Lake the moon had risen and the lunar light was reflected on the clam pure water of the lake. Quasar slumped down from the short walk, as his legs and chest ached from the previous fall. He lapped up the water with his dry tongue savoring the cold water. He knew he couldn't lay around so he got up slowly and sniffed the air for prey. A rich scent of rabbit wandered through the forest. "Quake would you mind if I go hunting?"

"Yes very much. You need to rest.Ill go."He trundled off before Quasar could argue or anything.Soon he was in the woods, alone. He headed for a rabbit he could feel not far away thinking only of their need for food.As soon as he caught the rabbit he picked it up and headed back to the others, but he couldnt keep himself distracted. He was almost there when something dug its claws into his pelt.He gasped in fright dropping the rabbit and froze. For a minute he didnt move sweating in fear wishing it would let go and go away. Then he slowly turned his head. He sighed aloud when he saw it was just a branch. 'What am I?A pup?' He growled angrily and snapped off the branch to fling it to the ground before picking up the rabbit and heading back to the others again.

Phoenix sighed and glanced out onto the lake. It's beautiful shimming seemed hypnotic, Making her relaxed. Phoenix looked up at the sky in wonder, "so many stars..." she whispered "A-are you up there mother? Can you see me? Am i doing the right thing?" Phoenix sighed and turned to glance at the form of Quake, approaching from the woods. The savory scent of rabbit instantly hit the roof of her mouth, making it water. "finally, food" She whispered and trotted over to Quake.

Quake dropped it at thier feet. "You two can share this.I'll go catch something for myself if I get hungry." He sat down with a thump near the edge of the water and made hiself content with staring into the water. Soon though he was asleep snoring softly.

Phoenix giggled slightly and gratefully picked up the rabbit. she began to trot over to Quasar, the paused and glanced over at Quake, sitting alone. "I forgot to say thanks...." Phoenix thought, "For the rabbit and for saving my life" Phoenix thought for a long moment and quickly ran over to where Quake was sitting. She softly nuzzled him, "thanks, for everything" she whispered and pulled away. Then she ran over to were Quasar was, "Quasar here" she placed the plump, white rabbit in front of him. "Eat" She smiled

Quasar dipped his head in thanks as he tore into the rabbit the delicious, warm flesh was amazing. He only took two mouthfuls though he was very grateful for the meal and pushed it toward Phoenix. "You need your energy too,we don't need Quake looking after another injured or sick wolf so please eat it." Quasar wrapped his tail around his leg, although the touch of fur stung his scratches it was better than freezing. He laid his head down on the dirt and drifted into the warm land of sleep.

Phoenix smiled gratefully, and sunk her white teeth deep into remanding rabbit's soft flesh. Its warm red blood dripped down her neck, she was tempted to lick it off for a moment, but she did not care. She polished off the rest of the rabbit and began to groom her sore paws. Each lick launched excruciating pain, but she had gone thorough worse. Phoenix's blue eyes being to dart between the two male wolves, It was strange to have them around since she was used to being alone. "This is the worse time for you to be doubting these two," She thought to herself, Phoenix quickly shook the feeling of dread off. She padded over to a different side of the lake and lay down. Her body was cold from the long day, but now was odvisley not the time to ask for warmth.

When Quasar got up the sun was a small blur in the horizon his wounds ached from the previous day and his energy was low. As he got up he felt his nerves in pain and his bones crack, he wandered over to the lake and lapped up some more water. The cool fresh water felt good on his dry tongue he went back over to his previous spot and lied down in wait for Quake and Phoenix to get up.

Phoenix awoke for her long slumber, She lifted her head to see two male wolves close by. Phoenix jumped back and bore her teeth, Then she remembered everything that had happened. The fight, Loki, Falling into underground tunnels, Quake, all of it. She settled down and padded over to Quasar, "Hey," She whispered " You feeling okay?" Phoenix suddenly felt a poisonous scent hit her nose. She looked towards the bushes to see something approaching... at a rapid speed.

Quakes eyes shot open at the vibrations but he made no move. He closed his eyes again and it was as if he had never awoken.

Lyra neither stirred or made any notions that she was alive, or even there. She opened her eyes to the cracking dawn, she did not have to stir just yet. A tradition of hers was to work her mind while sleeping and waking. Out of everything, she always recited her familys torn history, before Fault. (Since you people keep ensinuating you know her name.) Her Grandfather, Terce, a feirce, full blooded Earth wolf. His prefered form of attack was earth manipulation, you couldn't attack if you couldn't stand. He married her grandmother, Snare, a fern green, fullblooded Plant wolf, to settle the feud the two had for land because of their similaritys in power and desired terrain to obtain. They had been the leaders of their packs, a kind of royalty. Her mother, Stream, was their only daughter, talentless in battle, though it was sadi her beauty was uncompared. Cascading from her spine and deep rich amber fur were roses of a deep abstract blue hue; just enough to seem like a flattering contrast instead of something overpowered. Her father, Fluke, a wolf whose lineage was as confusing as the sand, the only real notable bloodline was plant, he had white snapdragons adoring his flame and coal licked fur on the neck and collar bone. He had been a superior fighter and had to be rumored to have wind and fire origins in his blood. Both Lyra's parents were dead, her mother more in the healing arts, her father more attuned to an unidentifiable chemical mixture that could eventually devour a wolfs lungs from the inside. Though they hadn't been the proper leaders of the pack, Stream had no desire for it, so it went to her younger brothers. But she had to be killed anyway, all elementals had to die right? What a bunch of ginger. Lyra streched, detaching herself from her safe haven of roots. She had to hunt for breakfast before more wolves began looking for the group of elementals that had wandered off.

A sharp sting of toxic air hit Quasar's nose like a claw to his belly. His ears pricked up and his mussels ached as he stood slightly to try and see where the poisonous gas was coming from.

Suddenly, A large black figure came crashing though the dense forest. Its deep black skin sent chills down Faith's side, She knew exactly what it was, "HOLLOW!!" She screamed and jumped out of its pathway. A Hollow was once a real animal, but after some time of killing or cannibalism, the disease would find its way into the animals brain, taking it over. The takeover would start with the skin, gently making all over the fur fall out, then turning it pitch black. Next, it would sprout a small twig of its hosts forehead, which would eventually spread its red roots around the creatures face. Even if one touch of this root grabbed a hold of your face, It would take control, and it was most likely that one of relatives of this animal, would have to kill him/her.
