Pendulum allowed herself to get pulled into the water, she didn't mind, afterall, she'd just land on him. Also being in the water would allow her to direct the merboy properly. She shut her wings tightly to her body, this would make for an easier dry and flight out of the water. Pendulum did her best to keep her head above water without colliding with Theo. "Well well well, look who's swimming." I would be lying if I said Pendulum didn't have a smug look on her face.

Theo grabbed her with one hand, splashing her in the face on accident. Well, mostly. He slapped at the water with his other hand but he was sinking. He had his head tilted back water up to his chin. He panted from the work.

Pendulum smirked, not minding the water, her pale eyes weren't bothered by it. This was ridiculously amusing to her, watching a merman flail around in the water. "Theo, get over yourself and stop flailing around, your embarrassing yourself." She concentrated on staying afloat, Theo was obviously seeing her as some sort of driftwood to a drowning man. Hehehe, she never thought she'd use that metaphor in context with a merman.

"Just let me out," pleaded Theo.
Something about all this was disturbing. He normally had control over his dreams even just a little. This definitely wasn't how his normal dreams went. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he felt this wasn't a dream at all. It just made him panicky.
"Come on! Please!"

Alyssa jolted up. She must've fallen asleep. She tried to rub her eyes, but then realized they were still bound. So it wasn't a dream... Alyssa growled in frustration.

"Let you out of what Theo?" Pendulem scrunched her face in confusion, quickly being replaced by a grin. "Come on? I'm sure you don't actually mean to tell me to "come" and then "on". Though I'm sure riding a merman would be devilish fun. You know what? I'm going to hold you to it." Pendulum inhaled softly, the picture of calm. A soft radiant light drifted from her mouth. "I, Pendulum, bound this Theo to his words. 'Come on! Please!", so I, Pendulum, cannot be persecuted for what has been offered me, Pendulum." Theo would feel an odd shimmering on his tongue, something soft, yet electric, weaving in and out of his mouth down his throat till it finally stopped and disappeared at his vocal cords. Pendulum was probably insane, good luck Theo. You should probably let go of her hand and ditch, Pendulum has a rope.

Caelum took her sweet time returning home. The door creaked as she shuffled back inside her cabin. "I'm back ladies, Katrina be nice to our guests, your going to be spending a few months with them." Whom she was speaking of became evident as several figures shuffled into the cabin after her. The muscularly broad form of a Minotaur, a deer centaur, and what looked to be a glowing puff of purple feathers the height of a chair. Upon closer inspection, it looked to be a very tiny harpy, who happened to glow purple and had a mixture of bug wings and bird wings. If you knew the creatures residing in the world, you'd know it was a mixed breed, or in nicer words a half-creature, the child of a harpy and fairy. "Katrina you will serve them as my guests, they've taken care of this place for me before and will further instruct you on how to properly care for my property. But enough of that, let's eat." Caelum trotted over to her cabinets, pulling out five bowls as well as several preserved jams and a loaf of bread. She set them on the table, depositing a few of the fish she caught in two of the bowls, and two with jam, setting the loaf out before slicing it up neatly. Caelum was surprisingly graceful as she worked, her tentacled tail assisting her in her multitasking. She was soon finished as she lit another lantern and hung a few of the fish by the ceiling over an empty bowl. "Sorry Katrina I still don't know what you like, feel free to pick a fish and sit down." Caelum sat in front of one of the fish filled bowls, motioning her friends to sit. The increased light showed off the minotaurs rich brown skin, the soft beige palette of the deer centaur, and the pristine emerald green highlights on the brown harpies feathers. They took their places respectively, the harpy to Caelum's right, her meal the fish, the minotaur across from her, and the deer centaur across from Caelum. There were no chairs so everyone had to sit down, the only bowl without a creature was Katrina's. You didn't think Caelum would go back on her insinuation of not feeding her captives did you? But yes, Alyssa, there have been no notions you get food. *Pat pat* There was a respectable 8 second pause before they began to eat their meals.

As understanding of what she meant dawned on him, instinct must have kicked in because he let go of her and shot across the top of the water like a skipping stone. Seriously, I'm not even sure if what did is possible but one second he's there the next he's practically flying down the river.

Unluckily for Theo, the river gate was closed and he sure as hell wasn't going to be able to get around for jump over it. SO unless he was going to flop around the land, he could only go right or left when he reached the gate.
(Hehe, if that's an inquiry... Technically most if not all mer-folk and people who are excellent at swimming from training, will be faster than him. Mostly from he's never swam before and instinct can only fuel his new body for so long and so well. He's like someone whose naturally good at something but hasn't done it before. A mer toddler could out swim him technically. But hehehe.)

~~~ When the meal was done, Caelum and company set about cleaning. The minotaur striding quietly over to the bound up air drake. "Caelum, the usual sleeping arrangements?" Caelum's voice found itself overpowering the sound of water being pumped. "Oh um yes, just move her. Sorry lass but the couple get the bed while their here. Besides, I just put you there temporarily, I thought you'd have used your lungs more than you did, quite a pity really. By the pantry would be fine." The minotaur lifted the air drake without so much as a grunt of strain, setting her down somewhere near the sink, but not that close. The group finished up, the minotaur and deer centaur claiming the bed, the small harpy/fairy thing nestling itself in their horns, letting her glow die down to nothing. Caelum collected and curled up among the nest of pillows and blankets strewn about. "Feel free to grab some blankets and sprawl back in the corner you first woke up in Katrina. Tomorrow I leave you in the care of these three. I guess an introduction would be fine right now. The small one is Luminescent, the minotaur is Tamarack, and the deer centaur is Azalea. Azalea and Tamarack are married, they adopted Luminescent. Everyone, this is Katrina. Now that introductions are done. Good night everyone."
Katrina nodded as she grabbed a blanket and a pillow,"G'night." She walked sleepily over to the corner she had originally been bound in, placing the pillow and lying down, holding the blanket close to her. Of course, sleep wouldn't be found too easily, so she stayed up, although she had her eyes shut just as if she was asleep. Her thoughts raced and danced through her head, the thought of magic and mythical creatures filling every gap. Eventually, she did fall asleep, her thoughts heavily influencing her dreams.
1a.m.
Caelum's eyes flashed open, she had been patient. Waiting for everyone's breath to slow to sleeps rhythm. She glanced over to the poison drake as she stood slowly, Katrina had been the last to finally sleep. For a poison drake, Katrina didn't stay up nearly as long as one, hopefully she'd still be the common deep sleeper they were. Such strange creatures, pure yet impure. Caelum frowned, a strange mystery surrounded them, if she wasn't so dangerously curious by nature she would have killed them when they first entered her wood. But she trusted her friends, they'd keep her property safe... They'd never be able to figure out every mystery to her wood anyway. Caelum's fingers tapped the air thoughtfully as she strode to the air drake. She mumbled a spell, lifting the air drake up for easy transport. Caelum's body wasn't meant for picking large objects, most centaur bodies weren't, but that's just how it was, at least most could transport someone on their back, but... Caelum shifted the leather drapes surrounding her. ...Things did get in the way. Caelum produced a note behind her hair, she had written in beforehand, her friends new the drill. Caelum liked traveling in the early mornings. Well, it was time to set out. Caelum and her prisoner soon found themselves outside, the cool air hissing darkly in the low strum of the morning.
6 a.m.
Katrina yawned as she awoke. Slowly, she sat up and stretched her wings wide. Katrina looked back at them and flexed them some, trying to get used to them, and still trying to take them in. She ran her fingertips along her scales that covered her forearm, the smooth plates thick and strong. She stood up and checked to see if the others had awoken yet.
Luminescence was sitting on the table, her legs swinging softly over the edge. Her eyes were set curiously on Katrina. "Morning..." She mumbled, her voice soft and bright in a feathery fashion.
Welcome Eve The beat of drums was steady, contemplative, it seemed to corrupt the air with its presence, if not consume it. The scuffling feet and the raking of metal on concrete could also be heard, but just barely. "What do you think they did to the poor dear?" "I'm unsure, but whoever handled the torture had very precise hands." "Is there really nothing else we can do?" "Until she wakes up, I'm afraid not... Now that things have calmed down, she should be waking soon. You should probably take the captains place so he can finally thoroughly investigate this..."
Well well. It's around 9a.m, not that'd it matter, your inside a tent Eve. Not just a tent, but a medic tent. When you finally wake, you will find a male bluejay harpy. He's probably fumbling with a scythe, he only has one arm y'see, this is his tent. No there's nothing wrong with you, they just found you by the mountain's base. You may question the word torture, well, um... You don't have a beak, which is odd to them, and in this era surgery is nothing more than necessary amputation. Anyway, your kinda on the brink of a war zone. Good luck!
Eve groaned softly. She didn't remember much before blacking out. Where was she? Her house? She opened her eyes slowly. Everything seemed blurry, but it cleared soon enough. When everything became normal again, Eve found herself staring at a blue shape, who turned out to be an over-sized blue jay, or that's what she thought.
The one armed bluejay chirped softly. "Good morning child, what can you tell me of before you slept last?"
